May we harvest the medicine of a journey with grief.
Becoming an Offering is a year long grief mentorship program from Summer Solstice 2024 to Summer Solstice 2025 culminating in a 2-week guided pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain.
This program is meant to be a vessel to hold a small cohort in emerging from the underworld journey catalyzed by loss and offering the harvest to the world.
There will be live monthly calls centered around grief initiations that will include ritual, nature soujourns, storytelling, somatics, and song.
Over Solstice 2025 we will walk with our grief and with our gifts. We will embody an ancient cyclical knowing that not only do we walk west toward the setting sun, but we also let the sun die, go through the dark night, so we may emerge and be impregnated by the new day, carrying that light home, the gift.
Lodging and food will be included for the two weeks on the camino. Airfare not included.
Our walk begins Saturday, June 22 at 9am MST.

Eating in rural Spain is very different then eating in the US where there are so many options. We will do our best to accommodate dietary requests with the knowing of the limitations.
Q: How many miles will we be walking each day?
We will be walking between 9 and 14 miles a day, with a three day pause in the middle to enact a death ritual and a welcoming of the new day. If participants are unable to carry their bags or if they need a ride, there is a support car that will be available.

A: We will not be offering CEUs.

A: While we will not be offering a certificate, you are most welcome, once you have completed the sessions, to list your participation in this training on your website, resume, etc.
Q: What is the commitment for the year?
A: Participation and commitment is important to maintain the intimacy and connection of the group, and we understand that sometimes there is just no way to make a call. Calls will be recorded and if there are a few calls missed throughout the year, it should be ok. Participants will be divided into triads and there will be an encouragement to meet with this small group at least once a month as well.
